~ Awakened Heart Women’s Winter Retreat ~

with Brandy Wade & Lily Russo

February 28- March 5

A Return to the Sacred

Join Brandy and Lily for an intimate women's retreat this winter on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

Guided by Brandy Wade and Lily Russo, this retreat is an invitation to return to your divine essence and true wild nature. Through the medicine of the ocean, movement, breath, prayer, ritual, nourishment, and deep listening, we will cultivate safety to open the parts of us that are ready to awaken, and remember our connection to the beauty and sacredness of life.

The ocean will be our teacher and companion—inviting us into rhythm, surrender, cleansing, and renewal. Through prayer, we will cultivate a relationship with the Divine within and without, discovering how prayer can become a living technology woven into our everyday lives.

We will explore the art of ritual and intention setting, creating meaningful practices that help us listen inwardly, honor what is emerging, and bring our deepest intentions into lived experience.

Our intention for this time together is rooted in the true sense of the word retreat, meaning to draw back from the front lines of our daily lives to create space for reflection, reconnection, and rejuvenation.

In this space, we can recognize and let go of habitual defenses, tension, and the superficial mental chatter that occupies most of our days. This allows us to reconnect to the inner loving essence of our hearts and the brilliant creativity and healing power of our divine feminine nature.

At Yandara, our lodging, practice space, dining area and free time are all held on the shores of the great Pacific Ocean. Our time together will be inspired by the water's soft power and its inherently feminine nature. And because Yandara has been a yogic community for over 23 years, we will also feel held and supported by the intentional and loving space they have cultivated there.

What to Look Forward To:

  • 5 nights lodging on the shores of the ocean in beautiful glamping tents or cabanas

Meet Your Guides

Brandy Wade

My work flows through me and into life as a yoga teacher, bodyworker, and sound ceremonialist. I am committed in my personal life to slowing down, connecting with the rhythms of nature, the outer and inner cycles, clearing karmic patterns—both mine and my ancestors’—and supporting the repatterning of the mind. My mission is to help restore balance to this planet from the inside out, guiding us back to our original essence, beauty, and joy of being.  In this life, my purpose is to stay grounded in the body, to live as love, and to awaken heart consciousness on this planet, while anchoring feminine and unity consciousness. I am devoted to listening beneath the surface of what is being said, trusting the innate wisdom of the body, and learning to heed its subtle whispers.

This body is the Earth, and the Earth is this body—a sacred temple of life.

Within our body temples reside sacred waters, which can easily be imprinted by the energy of others—through sexual intercourse, the DNA of our ancestors, our thoughts, and the energies of our partners' ancestors. It is essential to tend to our sacred inner waters, to know our yes’s and no’s, and to empower ourselves through conscious choice.

Water is cleansing; water is life. The rivers of the Earth mirror the veins of blood in our bodies—without water, there is no life. So, how do we care for our inner and outer waters? Practices like vaginal steams, breast-womb massage, spirit plant baths, ancestor work, self-love and compassion, and the healing power of rose medicine are just a few of the ways we can nurture and honor this sacred flow within us.

In my life and in my work, I am increasingly committed to restoring and honoring the sacredness of the feminine. Through my life's work, I share this prayer of connection, belonging, harmony, safety, and unity—both within and without. I am eternally grateful for the Divine energy that moves through me and for the grace that carries me through every step of the way.

Lily Russo

I feel very fortunate to have been practicing yoga for the past 25 years. It has been a path of health, joy, transformation and empowerment since I was just a teen. Initially, it was the physical practice that captured my attention, but over the years this led me to study all the other facets including pranayama, meditation, mantra, tantra, and yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, as well as other influential wisdom traditions, including Buddhism, the Tao te Ching, and plant medicines. In recent years, my explorations have led me to the more subtle aspects of Self, diving into practices that deepen connection to the healing wisdom and intuition within.

I have participated in over 1000 hours of yoga trainings, and am an affiliate of Shiva Rea’s Samudra Global School of Living Yoga, leading 200 Hour Prana Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Trainings. In 2023 I earned a Master of Science degree in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine from the Maharishi International University in Iowa.

As a Sacred Sensuality Guide, Yoga Teacher, Retreat Organizer, and Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner, my goal is to guide others to embody a path of connection to their higher Self, and be empowered to access the universal source of radiance, creativity, and healing. My greatest passion is connecting with women and guiding them to cultivate their natural feminine powers of sensuality, intuition, compassion, radiance and pleasure!
